With a five-match winning streak, William Jewell’s women’s tennis team roared to the Heart of America Athletic Conference regular-season title.
The Cardinals beat Lindenwood 8-1 on Saturday, April 18, at Bennett Park in Liberty to complete a perfect 5-0 conference season. It’s their first HAAC title since 2005.

Jewell sweeps Baker in HAAC play


It appears the Heart of America Athletic Conference baseball race will come down to the wire.

With less than two weeks to go before the end of the regular season, William Jewell and Lindenwood are tied in the loss column for first place. The Lions (21-7) have played two more games than the Cardinals (19-7).

Jewell’s baseball team leading HAAC

 

William Jewell’s top women’s doubles team is getting some national attention.

Sophomore Nikki Chambers and freshman Tanya Ratana are currently ranked No. 23 in the nation in the latest International Tennis Association poll for the NAIA.

Mandacina, Adams and Ferguson on NAIA honorable mention teams


Three William Jewell basketball players have been named NAIA All-Americans.

Senior Larry Mandacina from the men’s team and juniors Hillary Adams and Erica Ferguson from the women’s team were picked to the All-American honorable mention squads last week.

Jewell beaten by Lambuth University in NAIA tourney


It was a quick one and done for William Jewell’s women’s basketball team.

The Cardinals fell to Lambuth University (Tenn.) 82-59 in the first round of the NAIA Division I Tournament on Thursday, March 19, in Jackson, Tenn.
