Marcus Lucas ends long process by signing with Missouri


From coast to coast, Liberty High’s Marcus Lucas was a wanted man.

The 6-foot-4, blue-chip wide receiver did a lot of catching in the recruiting process. He received at least 35 NCAA Division I football scholarship offers.

Eagles to play first game at home against Oak Park

 

It is now set. Liberty North’s first football game ever will be at home on Aug. 27 and its opponent will be Oak Park High.

The 2010 Suburban Confererence football schedules have been released and for Liberty fans who don’t like traveling, there will be a home football game to attend each week.

Eagles to face Class 4 state champ Kearney in district play


Liberty North’s football program will know exactly what it needs to do to be among the state’s elite for the next few years.

That’s because the Eagles will get to play against the team defending its Class 4 state title in district play.
