William Jewell College will host a Public Service and Nonprofit Career Fair from 2:30 to 4:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, in Yates-Gill College Union on the campus in Liberty. The event is free and open to the public.

The format for the event includes an introduction to each agency from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and networking with agency representatives from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Agency representatives will be available to discuss career opportunities, internships, summer jobs and volunteer experiences.

The following organizations will be in attendance: American Diabetes Association; Central Intelligence Agency ; City of Kansas City; Community Service League; Federal Reserve Bank; Girl Scouts of Northeastern Kansas and Northwestern Missouri; Habitat for Humanity; Harvesters; Hillcrest Transitional Housing; Internal Revenue Service; International Visitors Council; Jackson County Children’s Division; Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation; March of Dimes; Missouri Division of Youth Services; Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault; National Association of Insurance Commissioners; National MS Society; People to People International; Social Security

Administration; Spofford; The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; U.S. Army; U.S. Census Bureau; U.S Marine Corps; and U.S. Navy.
